About Blom, Luxembourg, February 2025

Why we exist

Three members of the Blom team smiling around a café table
The Blom team in Luxembourg City.

Blom grew from three queer people, each on their own path. Through community and volunteer work, we saw how many voices still go unheard, even in our own spaces.

We have seen what visibility and honest storytelling can do for a person and for a community. Across everything we do, we amplify real stories so people can experience other realities. That opens minds, deepens understanding and builds empathy.

Blom exists so that people asking who they are, or where they belong, can recognise themselves in real people living authentically.

The role models aren't ideological figures. They tell the stories of real people, to break unconscious biases like self-limitation and self-censorship.
