As a young queer girl, I lacked role models. It is an honor to be considered one myself today.
Role models are people, collectives and institutions who live authentically, lead in their field and make room for others. We celebrate them so that anyone wondering who they are or where they belong can find themselves in a real person.

The Luxembourg Role Models take place every two years. Dates for Edition 2 will be announced on our LinkedIn and Instagram.
LGBTQIA+ people under 30 who show early on that being fully yourself leads somewhere.
Employees, founders and liberal professionals who are openly themselves at work.
Journalists, artists and cultural workers who humanise LGBTQIA+ lives through their work.
People who uplift others through advocacy, mentoring and creating spaces.
Non-LGBTQIA+ people who support us with action, beyond symbolic gestures.
Networks, ERGs and organisations whose practices go beyond rainbow washing.
Final categories depend on the nominations we receive.
Eleven nominees, a jury of six, and a full house at the Rainbow Center. Each winner received a flower trophy by CVRCLE Collective, with two stems: one in all six colours of the flag for the community, one in a single colour for the person's own path.

The inspiration can be small. If they can do that, why not me?

Hours before the ceremony, LEQGF withdrew from the Collective category so as not to compete with frontline activists, at a time when trans communities were under attack. We created a new award to honour their research and that act of solidarity.

Alongside the winners, the jury reviewed five more nominees whose work deserves to be known.
Grassroots activism, corporate diversity work and community bridge-building, around one table.

Blom is a member of the European Pride Business Network. Two of our winners, Loic Choquet and Gaby Schneider, were selected to represent the Grand Duchy at the 2nd European LGBTQIA+ & Allies Role Models Awards in Prague in May 2026, the first time Luxembourg took part, alongside national ceremonies in more than ten countries.
The European events often focus on politicians and large companies. Ours stays grassroots: a place that connects people from every walk of life.
The first edition was a collaboration between Blom and CVRCLE Collective, a young group of artists and creators in Luxembourg. They designed and hand-made the flower trophies and ran the social media campaign that introduced each nominee.
For CVRCLE Collective, role models carry stories that deserve to be seen, shared and kept.

Nominate a person, a collective or an organisation, or nominate yourself. Tell us who they are, what they do and why they inspire you.
The Luxembourg ceremony is independently funded. Sponsors cover the venue and reception, portrait videos and the communication campaign. Companies can also nominate, join the jury or speak.
Thank you to Facilitec, the Rainbow Center, Rosa Lëtzebuerg and our artistic partner CVRCLE Collective for Edition 1.
